Minister reached at hospital after complaints from citizens increased
BIRATNAGAR: JAN. 7 – Following an increase in public complaints regarding the hospital’s services, the Minister initiated emergency monitoring. Jayaram Yadav, the State Minister for Social Development, has taken the initiative to conduct emergency monitoring of hospitals and solve problems that arise as a result of public complaints about the hospital’s services and facilities.
At a program in Inaruwa a few days ago, Minister Yadav vowed to improve the district hospital within a month. Minister Yadav had reached the hospital in the morning after complaints of referral of patients to Inaruwa Hospital increased. According to his personal secretary Devendra Prasad Yadav, Minister Yadav visited the hospital’s pharmacy room, patient’s condition, sanitation, X-ray room, and other rooms to monitor the situation.
Sunsari Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav accompanied Minister Yadav. Minister Yadav stated during the monitoring that there were issues such as a lack of specialist doctors, cleanliness and medicines. He stated that his major task is to enhance Inaruwa Hospital and that the campaign to do so has already begun.
Minister Yadav stated that the issue of patient transportation from Inaruwa Hospital would be resolved. “The hospital requires a lot of renovation,” Yadav said, adding that fresh plans are required to enhance it.
