Triveni Cup to BYC

POKHARA: JAN. 6 – Buddha Youth Club (BYC) Club has won the 29th edition of the Triveni Cup, a popular competition to be held in Mofasal. BYC of Lamjung won the title by defeating Tokha Bhagwati Club of Kathmandu 2-0 in the final.

The winner BYC received Rs 500,000 while the runner-up received Rs 300,000. Triveni Cup is a nationwide football tournament. The team that played in the semi-finals of the competition got 50/50 thousand rupees.

The top scorers were BYC’s Fakulne Ayomi and Tokha’s Arman Bedum. Amit Lama of Tokha was declared the best player. They have been given 15,000 prizes each.
