NEPSE increased by 43 points, turnover of Rs 3.5 billion
KATHMANDU: JAN. 6 – On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the sharemarket (NEPSE) index increased by 43.29 points.
On Wednesday, the NEPSE index fell by 30.75 points, and 429 lots of shares were purchased and sold for Rs 4,621.598,558.
By the end of trading on Thursday, the NEPSE index had risen 1.63 percent to 2692.47 points.
The Sensitive Index increased by 9.16 points to 506.16. The indices of two of the 13 traded subgroups have fallen, while the others have increased.
A total of 73,36,334 shares of 238 companies were traded at a price of Rs 3 billion 676.68 million 46 thousand 349 rupees on Thursday.
On this day, the share price of Terhathum Power Company Limited has increased by 10 percent. The share price of Nepal Finance Limited has also increased by 10 percent.
The share price of Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Limited has risen by 9.99 percent.
