Prachanda not to meet physically and take good wishes

KATHMANDU: JAN. 6 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center), would not meet physically and will not receive well wishes and congratulations. According to his secretariat, this procedure has been halted since the COVID-19 infection has grown.

Expressing gratitude to those who wished good luck to Prachanda, the Secretariat said that the exchange of congratulations and good wishes, which had been going on physically for the past three days, has been stopped from today, taking into account the increased COVID-19 infection in various places including Kathmandu and the suggestions of health workers.

Prachanda, who was re-elected as party chairperson on January 3, had received congratulations and best wishes from the party’s leaders and cadres.
