Chelsea’s comfortable win over Tottenham

KATHMANDU: JAN. 6 – Chelsea have won the first leg of the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 at home at Stamford Bridge last night.

In Chelsea’s win, Kai Havertz scored the winning goal. Chelsea took the lead in the fifth minute through a goal by Kai Havertz. Ben Davies scored an own goal in the 34th minute to give Chelsea a 2-0 lead in the first half.

After that, no goal could be scored so that Chelsea have won. The second leg will now take place at Tottenham on Jan 12. Chelsea will reach the final if they can maintain the same result in this game. Tottenham needs at least a 3-0 win. The Caravan Cup final will be played on Feb 27.
