The movie ‘Prem Geet 3’ postponed indefinitely
KATHMANDU: JAN. 4 – The movie ‘Prem Geet 3’ will not be released from the pre-announced date of Falgun 13 (Feb 25). According to the film’s producer and director Santosh Sen, the release date of the film has been postponed due to increasing infection of coronavirus.
He said the decision was taken as per the suggestion of the Indian market distributor. It is said that the film will not be screened in the world market at present considering the request to release the film on the same date. The government has closed movie theaters due to the spread of coronavirus infection in India. Earlier, the release date of the film was fixed on Chaitra 28, 2076 (10 April 2020).
The film stars Pradeep Khadka, Christina Gurung, Shiva Shrestha, Sunil Thapa, Manish Raut, Santosh Sen, Maotse Gurung, Pushkar Karki, Prem Puri, Anubhav Regmi, Yogisa Khatri, Laxmi Bardewa, Samridhi Shahi Thakuri, Krijan Gautam, Jeevan Baral, Jeevan Bhattarai, Raj Thapa, Sujal Basnet and others have the main role.
The film was shot by Rajesh Shrestha. There is music by Kalyan Singh and dance by Kabiraj Gahatraj. The song was edited by Banish Shah and Bhupendra Adhikari. The film, directed by Chhetan Gurung and Santosh Sen, is said to be based on a 200-year-old love story.
