Share market improved by 32 points, turnover of Rs 4.5 billion

KATHMANDU: JAN. 3 – On the second day of the week, the share market has surged by double digits. By the end of the day, the NEPSE index had increased 32.03 points to 2616.94 points.

On the day, 82 lakh 5 thousand 52 shares from 230 companies were exchanged for Rs 4,533,017,178.

Sub-indices of banking, development banks, finance, hydropower, life insurance, microfinance, non-life insurance, and other groups have increased on this day.

Shares of Madhya Bhotekoshi, Gurans Microfinance, NIC Asia and Salt Trading Corporation have risen the most on this day.

Similarly, investors of Ru Ru Hydropower Company, Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Kalika Power, Lumbini General Insurance and other companies have lost.
