CPN (Maoist Center) gets 17 couple as CCM

KATHMANDU: JAN. 3 – The 8th National General Convention of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has concluded. The general convention, which lasted seven days, selected 236 central members.

The Maoist Central Committee has 299 members, according to the party’s constitution. According to party spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the remaining central members will be decided in a meeting on Monday (today).

In a closed session, party chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ submitted the names of the 236 elected central members. The same names were approved by 1,742 delegates. Prachanda has suggested 17 pairs of couples names.

These lucky couples were elected to the Central Committee through the 8th General Convention of the CPN (Maoist Center):-

3. Shakti Basnet – Satya Pahadi
4. Hitman Shakya – Amrita Thapa
5. Lilamani Pokhrel – Shashi Shrestha

7. Devendra Parajuli – Kalpana Dhamala
8. Kul Prasad KC – Tara Kumari Gharti
9. Devendra Poudel – Balawati Sharma
10. Ganeshman – Kamala Roka

11. Khagraj Bhatta – Manju Bam
12. Nar Bahadur Bista – Puspa Gharti
13. Ramdeep Acharya – Krishna Shah
14. Dilip Prajapati – Pratima Shrestha
