Protest against the government if Unity Day is not observed: Lingden
KATHMANDU: JAN. 3 – Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has stated that if National Unity Day is not celebrated on Earth Day, the RPP will begin demonstrating against the government. This was stated by Chairperson Lingden during a program held at the RPP Central Office in Dhumbarahi.
He stated that National Unity Day celebrations would be welcomed, or protests against the government will begin. We demand that the 27th of Poush (January 11th) be observed as National Unity Day. As a result of the government’s decision, we celebrate on the 27th of Poush. If the government does not do so, we will start our anti-government campaign on the same day,’ stated RPP Chairperson Lingden.
Lingden said that for the restoration of the monarchy and Hindu Nationality, both election and road alternatives would be operated simultaneously. “We are moving forward with the option of establishing our beliefs as soon as possible,” he said.
