Branchless Banking of Citizens Bank at Bhataulia, Nawalparasi

KATHMANDU: JAN. 2 – Citizens Bank has launched the 90th branchless banking service in Bhataulia Bazar, Bardaghat Municipality, Nawalparasi.

Local businessman Nawaraj Pahari has been appointed as the business representative to operate the service in the area, the bank said. Branchless banking has been expanding to provide accessible and state-of-the-art banking services to the residents of various remote places of the country.

Branchless banking will provide deposit collection, payment, fund transfer, mobile phone bill payment, payment of utility services and other services provided by the bank.

The bank expects that this service will significantly expand trust and the banking system in rural areas.
