List of Maoist central members in closed session

KATHMANDU: JAN. 2 – The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has compiled a list of its central members. Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the party’s chairperson, has entered the closed session with the list.

The closed session of the 8th National General Convention has now begun at Pragya Bhawan. The names of the central members have been decided, according to a member of Prachanda’s secretariat. Prachanda then walked into a closed session.

A leader has said that after the selection of the central members in the closed session, the office bearers will be selected from there. According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the right to contest in the election has been acquired on the leadership list.

The election will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, according to the commission. The Maoists, on the other hand, are attempting to elect office bearers and central members by consensus.
