Tractor accident: One killed, three injured

KATHMANDU: JAN. 2 – One person has died in a tractor accident in Birendranagar of Surkhet district. Similarly, three persons have been injured. According to police, the tractor (Bhe 2 Ta 1157) had met with an accident at Surkhet Dailekh Road in Nagdhunga of Birendranagar Municipality-7 at around 12:30 on Sunday.

According to the Surkhet District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Bhuwan Shahi, 21, of Mahabu Rural Municipality-5, Dailekh.

The tractor has fallen 50 meters below the road. According to police, the tractor’s co-driver and three other passengers are in good condition. According to police, Shahi died and three others were being treated at Karnali State Hospital.

Their condition is said to be normal.
