Seven of deceased yet to be identified, while other 13 are being treated

PALPA: JAN. 2 – The identities of the seven passengers killed in a bus accident in Palpa on Sunday are yet unknown. According to the police, preparations are in the process to collect the body and transport it to the district hospital for an autopsy.

Thirteen people injured in the accident are being treated at the United Mission Hospital in Tansen. According to the Palpa District Police Office, seven people died on the spot as the bus (Lu 1 Kha 7279) departed Rupandehi towards Ridi to attend a funeral.

According to the District Police Office, there were more than 35 passengers on the bus, but the number of victims has not yet been revealed.
