S S Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ release postponed

KATHMANDU: JAN. 2 – With the spread of COVID-19 throughout India, the Delhi government has decided to shut down all movie theaters.

As a result, the South Indian film ‘RRR’ will not be released on the scheduled date. The movie was supposed to be released next Friday. The team has halted screenings of the film without announcing a new date.

Directed by SS Rajmouli, the film stars Junior NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and others in the lead roles.

The production team had already spent a lot of money to promote the film. The US premiere of the film also sold over a million tickets.
