Mourning in Koirala family, death of Krishna Prasad grandson

KATHMANDU: JAN. 2 – Jyoti, Tarini Prasad Koirala’s son, has died. Bharat Tiwari, Dr. Shashank Koirala’s personal secretary, informed that he died of cancer last night. Jyoti is Krishna Prasad Koirala’s grandson.

Matrika, BP, Keshav, Girija, and Tarini Koirala are Krishna Prasad’s sons. Although the children of other brothers were in politics, Tarini and his children were not active in politics.

Tarini is a well-known author and journalist. Jyoti has two daughters. On Sunday morning, Koirala was laid to rest at Aryaghat at Pashupatinath.

Dr. Shekhar Koirala, Dr. Shashank Koirala, Manisha Koirala, Prakash Koirala, Kamal Koirala, and Congress politician Ram Chandra Poudel were present at the funeral.
