A three-day food festival in Bhedetar
BIRATNAGAR: JAN 1 – A three-day food festival has started in Bhedetar, which has been recognized as a State 1 tourist destination. According to the organizers, the food festival, held on the occasion of the English New Year, has been used to attract both domestic and international tourists.
More than a dozen local food items, veggies, and fruits are grown organically in the area are on exhibit at the festival. Local handicrafts, agriculture, and household items are also on exhibit. The Bhedetar Hotel Association organizes the food festival, which is supported by the Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality and promoted by the Nepal Tourism Board.
According to the organizers, the event would also aid in the development of tourism in Bhedetar. The festival, which began on Friday, will go on until Sunday. In beginning the food festival, State 1 Himal Karki, Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, promised to bring a particular plan for the development of Bhedetar. Minister Karki stated that the state administration will provide a unique strategy to enhance Bhedetar, the state’s primary tourism center.
