Rapper Laure to be kept in custody for another 8 days
KATHMANDU: DEC. 31 – A court has ordered to keep in custody for eight days four persons arrested from Pokhara in a drug-related case.
According to Kaski District Police Office Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa, the Kaski District Court on Friday ordered to keep all those arrested along with rapper Aashish Rana ‘Laure’ in custody. They were arrested on Wednesday night from Pokhara-8 Jalpa road. An investigation could not be carried out on Thursday as the court was closed.
Among the arrested are Dhurba Bahadur Thapa of Pokhara 12 currently living in Chhorepatan, Nabin Kumar Gurung resident of Rupa Rural Municipality-7, currently living in Bagar of Pokhara-1 and Susmita Gurung, 22, of Syangja Bhirkot, Pokhara 8, currently living in Sabhagriha.
A total of 13.01 grams of brown sugar was recovered from them. The raid was carried out by the police on the basis of information that drug trafficking was taking place.
