NWPP protest against MCC [Photos]

KATHMANDU: DEC. 31 – The Nepal Workers Peasants Party (NWPP) protested the American Millennium Challenge Corporation MCC in Kathmandu. Demonstrators from all around Kathmandu and Bhaktapur will encircle the Federal Parliament building.

A procession led by Mayor Sunil Prajapati is making its way from Kathmandu’s old Baneshwor to Bhaktapur. In the meanwhile, security has been tightened up in response to the protests. The parliament building is surrounded by a large police presence.
