Need for reconciliation rather than debate in nation building: Shekhar Koirala

KATHMANDU: DEC. 31 – Dr. Shekhar Koirala, Congress leader, has stated that nation-building requires reconciliation rather than dispute. In the context of National Unity and Reconciliation Day, Dr. Koirala has said that its relevance has increased many times through social media.

He wrote, “The national reconciliation formulated by BP Koirala has entered 46 years. On this historic occasion, the need for reconciliation is greater than any other. The relevance of reconciliation has multiplied even today. We have the challenge of keeping the sovereignty and integrity of Nepal intact by weakening the movement of superpowers. In the end, let BP inspire all of us to follow the path of reconciliation and integrity. ‘

He also stated that Nepalis have a problem in maintaining the country’s sovereignty and integrity while opposing the maneuver of the powerful countries.
