How is the weather today?

KATHMANDU: DEC. 31 – Currently, many parts of the country are foggy, with partial cloud cover. The western low-pressure system and the low-pressure area in India’s eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have changed.

The Weather Forecast Division says that there will be some cloud cover in the afternoon. Light snowfall is expected in one or two locations in the Gandaki and State 1 high hills and mountainous areas.

At night, there will be partial to normal cloud cover in State 1, Bagmati, and Gandaki, and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is a chance of light snowfall in one or two areas in State 1’s high hilly and mountainous region, including Bagmati and Gandaki.

The department has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid cold as there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki and State 1.
