Chinese Foreign Minister to visit African and Asian nations

KATHMANDU: DEC. 30 – Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to visit Eritrea, Kenya and Comoros from Jan 4 to 7.

The Chinese Foreign Minister is expected to continue his tradition of visiting Africa earlier this year.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian made the announcement in Beijing on Thursday.

After visiting Africa, Wang would visit the Maldives and Sri Lanka said, Zhao.
