UML’s Bagmati state convention to be held in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: DEC. 30 – The Bagmati State Committee of the CPN (UML) will hold its first convention in Kathmandu on Jan 22 and 23. The third meeting of the organizing committee, headed by the committee’s chairperson Keshav Pandey, formed several sub-committees to conclude the convention.
The meeting was attended by Chairperson Pandey for preparation of political/organizational report, vice chairperson for financial management Ram Hari Subedi, Secretary for Representative management Bijay Subedi, Deputy Secretary for Publicity Ratna Gurung Hall, Deputy Secretary for Forum and Food Management Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, Secretariat Member Apsara Chapagain, Health State Member Dr. Ram Kumar Adhikari and State member Upendra Poudel has been appointed as the coordinator of the volunteer mobilization.
According to Deputy Secretary Gurung, it has been determined to select the delegates for the convention by Jan 16. The meeting was attended by the party’s Bagmati in-charge Kashinath Adhikari, as well as deputy in-charges Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Sher Bahadur Tamang, Ananda Prasad Pokhrel, and Parbat Gurung.
UML has set district conventions on Jan 7 and state conventions on Jan 22 in all states.
