U-19 Asia Cup: Nepal lost with Kuwait
KATHMANDU: DEC. 29 – Nepal lost to Kuwait by one wicket in Asia Cup Cricket U-19 Asia Cup. After losing to Kuwait, Nepal has become without a victory in the Asia Cup. Meet Bhavsar played brilliant innings of 175 runs for Kuwait and gave victory to Kuwait.
Batting first after losing the toss, Nepal were bowled out for 239 in 42.3 overs. While Bivek Magar scored 50 runs for Nepal, Bashir Ahmed played an innings of 56 runs. Similarly, Mohammad Adil Alam scored 49 runs to give Nepal a respectable score. Mirza Ahmed and Abdul Sadiq took 3-3 wickets each for Kuwait while Henry Thomas and Mohammad Bastaki took 2-2 wickets.
Chasing the winning target of 240 runs, the Kuwaiti opener won the match in a brilliant inning. Meet, who played 149 balls, played brilliant innings of 175 runs with the help of 24 fours and 1 six.
