Agreement between Rastriya Banijya Bank and National Examination Board

KATHMANDU: DEC. 28 – An agreement has been reached between Rastriya Banijya Bank and the National Examination Board regarding the flow of simple loans to professionals.

The agreement has been signed by Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and Durga Prasad Aryal, Member Secretary of the Board.

After the signing of the agreement, the bank will provide a simple loan to the employees of the board who have completed two years of service on the recommendation of the board up to a maximum of Rs 15 lakhs subject to the bank’s consumer loan guideline, 2077.

The bank has stated that it will invest the loan by maintaining the premium pair interest rate of 2 percent at the base rate.

At present, the base rate of the bank is 5.51 percent. As per the agreement, the salary account of the employees of the board will be operated by the bank.

Speaking on the occasion, Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, said that the two institutions would work together to make arrangements for the students to pay the fees to the board through digital technology.

Board Member Secretary Durga Prasad Aryal said that the long-standing relationship between the two institutions would be made practical and materialistic.
