Committee formed to investigate the deaths of two engineers
KATHMANDU: DEC. 28 – The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation has formed an investigation committee concerning the deaths of two engineers who were inspecting the water pressure in the Solukhola Dudhkoshi project pipeline when an explosion occurred.
The Ministry of Energy has formed an investigation team to look into the incident that occurred on Tuesday, which will be led by Joint Secretary Chiranjibi Chataut.
Ministry spokesperson Madhu Prasad Bhetuwal said that the committee formed by the ministry would work out procedures to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.
Arjun Thapa, 29, of Dhulikhel Municipality-4, and Subash Raj Regmi, 26, of Achham Sanfebagar-2, have been identified as the deceased.
