Nepal won the Central Zone Championship

KATHMANDU: DEC. 28 – Nepal has won the Asian Central Zone Challenge Cup Volleyball women’s title. On Tuesday, Nepal defeated Uzbekistan 3-2 in the final in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Nepal is also the previous winner of the competition. Nepal had won the first set 25-24 at the Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur. In the second set, Uzbekistan won 25-24.

In the third set, Nepal won 25-15 but the game became competitive and interesting after Uzbekistan won 25-22 in the fourth set. In the fifth set, Nepal won 15-10 and secured the title.

Nepal remained undefeated throughout the tournament. Nepal will play Uzbekistan for third place in the men’s match.
