Nepal reports 271 new COVID-19 cases, one death in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: DEC. 27 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 271 people in Nepal on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, COVID-19 infection was confirmed in 251 people out of 9,157 PCR tests conducted in the country and 20 out of 1,729 antigen tests.

At the same time, the number of COVID-19 infected in Nepal has reached 923,673.

According to the Ministry, one more person has died due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 11,586.

With the release of 225 infected people, altogether 811,005 people have been cured in Nepal so far.

At present, there are 4,931 actively isolated infected people in Nepal and 97 are in quarantine, according to the ministry.
