Prachanda to present report in closed session of UCPN (M) from today
KATHMANDU: DEC. 27 – The CPN-Maoist Center is scheduled to hold a closed session today under the eighth general convention. Today, at 11 a.m., a closed session will be placed in the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan building in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
Standing Committee member Janardan Sharma, who was also the announcer at the end of the session on Sunday, provided information regarding the closed session. The political report of Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ the legislature, and other reports will be delivered during the closed session.
A total of 1,631 delegates and observers will participate in the closed session of the Maoists, which is portrayed as a general convention of ideas. Adding all the clusters, it is said that the number has increased a bit. Representatives from seven geographical States and three non-geographical provinces are participating in the conference. There is a program to discuss the political report of Chairperson Prachanda in a closed session.
Secretary of the UCPN (M) Central Office, Shree Ram Dhakal, informed that there is an agenda to select a new leadership as soon as the political report is passed. The Maoists, who had organized the national conference, had turned it into a general convention only on Saturday.
