Electric car created by four tenth-grade students
DHANGADHI: DEC. 26 – Four Axis Vidyashram students in Dhangadhi, Kailali, have built an electric car.
Students Rishikesh Thapa, Rohit Aire, Aditya Joshi, and Saksham Regmi created the ‘Saar Alpha,’ an electric four-wheeled car.
During the second wave of the COVID-19 lockdown, they began manufacturing electric cars. Thapa stated that the car was created in four months at a cost of Rs 1.5 lakhs.
He says that they have succeeded in building the car with the help of family and school. “Our friends advised us to make good use of the lockdown and we started work,” he said. With the help of family and school, we can make it run in four months. ‘According to them, the car is still under construction.
Most of the materials they need in the car are not new. Motorcycles, auto-rickshaws, and other materials have been used in car. “We have built the car by gathering materials from different places,” said Aaditya. “There is still a lot of work to be done.”
They said that the students studying in class 10 have entered this field with the aim of bringing out their potential along with their studies.
