Eighth National General Convention of Maoists begins

KATHMANDU: DEC. 26 – The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has begun its 8th National General Convention in Kathmandu.

The inaugural session of the General Convention has just begun at Nepal Pragya Pratisthan in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

Madhav Kumar Nepal, chairperson of CPN-Unified Socialists, Upendra Yadav, chairperson of JSP and vice-chairperson of Rastriya Jana Morcha, Durga Poudel have arrived to participate in the program.

According to the UCPN (Maoist) Center, Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will also attend the program.
