Focus on development of revolutionary ideas and policies : Prachanda

KATHMANDU: DEC. 26 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Chairperson of the CPN-Maoist Center, has urged the development of new revolutionary ideas and policies. In a statement congratulating Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong on his 129th birthday, Chairperson Prachanda appealed to the public to fully focus on the debate over the development of a new policy.

He further stated that on the anniversary of Mao Jayanti, the Maoists will host the historic 8th National General Convention to form the new revolutionary ideology and revolutionary party. Prachanda has stated that the new Maoists will lead the socialist revolution by fulfilling the remaining tasks of the democratic revolution after the general convention.

Prachanda has mentioned that the bourgeois-democratic revolution of Nepal has been basically completed with its own uniqueness and originality on the strength of the great people’s war and historical people’s movements established on the basis of people’s war in the light of the Maoist worldview.
