Maoist General Convention starting, Central Committee meets

KATHMANDU: DEC. 26 – The eighth national general convention of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) is starting from Sunday (today).

A meeting of the Central Committee is being held in front of the General Convention to be held at Kathmandu Nepal Pragya Pratisthan.

Leader Leela Mani Pokharel stated that a meeting is now taking place at the party office in Parisdanda to discuss various matters concerning the general convention. The meeting will focus specifically on Prachanda’s documents.

For the General Convention, almost 1600 delegates have already arrived in Kathmandu.
