Russia fines Google $100 million

KATHMANDU: DEC. 25 – A Russian court has fined Google nearly $100 million.

A Russian court has fined Google 98.1 million for disobeying an order to remove illegal content from Google.

The decision was made by a Moscow district court on Friday, according to Russia’s state-run RT channel.

According to RT, this is the largest fine ever paid to Google in Russia.
