One new death in past 24 hours

ITAHARI: DEC. 24 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 260 people in Nepal on Friday.

A total of 11,896 COVID-19 tests were conducted during the period.

With the release of 349 infected people, altogether 810,271 people have been cured in Nepal so far.

The recovery rate is 98 percent, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Similarly, one more person has died due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 11,582.

Likewise, 329,371 people got vaccines against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.

There are 5,048 active and 114  serious COVID-19 cases in Nepal.
