Mahashram Sharma appointed chairperson of NEB
KATHMANDU: DEC. 24 – The government has chosen Mahashram Sharma to lead the National Examination Board.
At a press conference held at Singha Durbar on Friday to announce the cabinet’s decision, government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki stated that the cabinet meeting on Dec. 23 agreed to appoint Sharma as the board’s chairperson.
Similarly, the Council of Ministers has decided to set up an Industrial and Investment Promotion Fund and give in-principle approval to the Legislative Management Committee to introduce the bill, said spokesperson Karki. Spokesperson Karki informed that it has been decided to review the tariff rate of postal goods and the foreign express mail service (EMS) tariff.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to grant public leave on Dec. 25 on the occasion of Christmas Day and give pre-approval for organization and management survey.
