NEPSE increased by 12 points, turnover of Rs 4.5 billion

KATHMANDU: DEC. 23 – The stock market (NEPSE) index has risen by 12.53 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. By the close of trading on this day, the NEPSE index had risen 0.50 percent to 2520.23 points.

The Sensitive Index rose 0.10 points to 477.36. Of the 13 subgroups traded, the indices of all subgroups have increased.

A total of 83,23,923 shares of 229 companies were traded at Rs 4.49 billion 26.6 million 410 rupees on Thursday.

Shares of Shikhar Insurance Company Limited, Jeevan Bikas Microfinance Institution and Barun Hydropower rose more than 9 percent on the day.

Share prices of Narayani Development Bank and Neco Insurance Company have risen by more than 8 percent.
