Voting continues in State 2

JANAKPURDHAM: DEC. 23 – Voting is taking place in Janakpurdham as part of Nepali Congress State 2’s first convention. Voting for the 67 posts, which was supposed to start at 8 a.m., began at 9:30 p.m.

About 2,000 voters of State 2 are participating in the election. The election committee has stated that voting will continue till 3 p.m.

Five members were elected unopposed out of 180 candidates for 72 posts while voting for the remaining 67 posts is still underway.
