Election officer appointed for National Assembly elections

KATHMANDU: DEC. 22 – The Election Commission has appointed an Election Officer for the election of National Assembly members. The concerned district judge has been appointed as the election officer in each district for the upcoming election on January 26.

According to Election Commission spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel, Judge Bharat Lamsal of Morang District Court for State-1, Judge Brijesh Pyakurel of Dhanusha District Court for State-2 and Judge Dilliratna Shrestha of Makwanpur District Court for Bagmati State have been appointed as election officers.

Similarly, Ritendra Thapa, Judge of Dang District Court for Lumbini, Dr. Rajendra Kumar Acharya, Judge of Surkhet District Court for Karnali and Jayananda Paneru, Judge of Kailali District Court for Far Western State have been appointed as Election Officers.
