Celebrity Nepal is holding ‘Nepal Rural Film Festival’
KATHMANDU: DEC. 21 – The ‘Nepal Rural Film Festival’ is being organized with the objective of bringing Nepali films to the rural market and promoting tourism. Celebrity Nepal has announced to hold a three-day film festival in the last week of Magh (Feb/March).
Indigenous short films, documentaries and feature films made in the village environment will participate in the festival.
Raghunath Sapkota, the chairperson of the organizing body, informed that the best films will be screened in state-of-the-art technology and awards will be given to the best films in the festival.
The festival will include films from different languages as well as films taken from mobile phones. Along with the screening of films, interactions and workshops will also be organized on the subject of making films by incorporating the rural environment.
