Growth in NEPSE, transaction amount limited to 2.5 billion
KATHMANDU: DEC. 21 – The stock market (NEPSE) index rose by 56.73 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.
When the NEPSE fell by 17 points yesterday (Monday), it was bought and sold at Rs 2 billion 466.46 million 89 thousand 8 hundred 63 rupees.
By the close of trading on this day, the NEPSE index has risen by 2.41 percent to 2455.55 points.
The Sensitive Index rose 11.34 points to 462.52. Of the 13 subgroups traded, all subgroup indicators have risen.
A total of 4,974,253 shares of 226 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 2 billion 388.32 million 59 thousand 8 hundred 47 rupees on Tuesday.
The share price of Green Development Bank Limited has risen by 10 percent on this day. The shares of Janaki Finance Limited rose 9.81 percent and Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited rose 9.21 percent.
