Five Congress central members including Chaudhary elected from Madhesi cluster

KATHMANDU: DEC. 21 – Five persons, including businessman Binod Chaudhary, have been elected as central members of the Nepali Congress from the Madhesi cluster. With 2,206 votes, Chaudhary got the second-highest number of votes.

According to the preliminary count, Ajay Chaurasia (2522), Chandra Mohan Yadav (2138), Mahendra Kumar Rai (1984) and Dinesh Kumar Yadav (1959) have emerged victorious.

A formal announcement is yet to be made.
