Results of five Madhesi central members made public

KATHMANDU: DEC. 21 – The result of the five central members of the Nepali Congress from the Madhesi side has made public.

Ajay Chaurasia, Chandra Mohan Yadav, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Mahendra Kumar Rai, and Binod Chaudhary have been elected, according to the Central Election Committee.

Chaurasia got 2522 votes, Chandra Mohan got 2138 votes, Binod got 2206 votes, Dinesh Kumar got 1959 votes, and Mahendra Kumar got 1984 votes.

Except for Chandra Mohan, they are all members of President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s faction.

Chandra Mohan is also the son of Nepal’s former President.
