Speaker convened a meeting of the Business Committee before the Parliament meeting

KATHMANDU: DEC. 21 – The second meeting of the 10th session of the House of Representatives is being held today. Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota had earlier called a meeting of the House Business Advisory Committee as the parliament sitting was scheduled for 1 pm.

The meeting will be held at 11:30 am at Shankar Hall, Parliament House, New Baneshwor. Although the government is preparing to table MCC in the meeting, MCC is not included in the possible agenda of the meeting. The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, had blocked all sittings of the ninth session of parliament.

He has decided to block the meeting of the 10th convention. UML lawmakers also chanted slogans in the first meeting of the 10th session held on Dec. 14.
