Bimalendra Nidhi congratulates General Secretary Gagan Thapa

KATHMANDU: DEC. 19 – Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi has congratulated the newly elected General Minister Gagan Thapa and wished him a successful tenure.

Thapa, who was elected general secretary, and another youth leader, Chandra Bhandari, had gone to Nidhi’s residence in Madhya Baneshwor at 6 pm on Saturday to meet Nidhi. During the meeting, Nidhi congratulated Gagan and wished him a successful tenure.

It is said that the talks focused on the General Convention of State 2. The convention of State 2 is scheduled to be held on December 21. During the meeting, Nidhi had requested Thapa to support Ram Saroj Yadav as the president of State 2. It is said that Nidhi and Thapa have agreed to meet again today.
