’21st century is of data capitalism’

KATHMANDU: DEC. 17 – CPN-UML vice-chairperson Surendra Pandey said the 21st century data capitalism was selling the private experience of the people.

Inaugurating the ninth convention of Press Chautari Nepal, he further said labour transaction and fiscal capitalism had dominated the 19th and 20th centuries, and now the time has come to make billions of rupees by making and selling data.

Former Finance Minister Pandey cautioned political leaders and journalists of facing crisis if they also did not adapt changes. He stressed the need for free education, free treatment, a house for all, social security for the elderly and modernization in agriculture for scientific socialism.
