Far West Capital Cup begins, inaugurated by Chief Minister

DHANGADHI: DEC. 17 – The Far Western Capital Cup 1078 has started in Attariya of Kailali on Friday. The third edition of the Rajdhani Cup has started at Shiv Shakti Sports Ground, Ward No. 8 of Godawari Municipality organized by PFA Sports Club. The competition was inaugurated by Far-Western Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta.

According to the organizers, women’s and men’s football competitions will be held under the Capital Cup. The men’s team will receive Rs 500,000 and the runner-up Rs 250,000 in cash, while the women’s team will receive Rs 150,000 and the runner-up will receive Rs 75,000 in cash.

Cash and trophies will also be given to the players who excel in various disciplines on both sides.

A total of Rs. 47 lakh 6 thousand is estimated to be spent on the competition Eight teams from the men’s side and six teams from the women’s side will participate from Attariya, Dhangadhi, Kanchanpur and Butwal.

There is no age group or region for the players participating in the tournament.
