Deuba and Prachanda meets

KATHMANDU: DEC. 17 – A meeting has been held between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairperson of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. According to the Prachanda Secretariat, the two met at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Friday morning.

During the meeting, Prachanda congratulated Deuba on his re-election from the 14th General Convention. They also discussed issues related to the functioning of the parliament, appointment of ambassadors and convening of all-party meetings.

According to his secretariat, Prachanda also drew the attention of Prime Minister Deuba to the alleged action taken against the cricketers.
