ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies postponed

KATHMANDU: DEC. 17 – The impacts of the coronavirus epidemic are being felt once more in cricket. The three-match One-Day International (ODI) series between Pakistan and the West Indies, scheduled for Dec. 18, has been rescheduled until July.
The two countries’ three-match T20 series concluded on Thursday. The most recent match was held in Karachi. The three-match series was also set to take place in Karachi.
Five other West Indies members have also been suspended after being tested positive for coronavirus. Coronavirus positives include Shai Hope, Justin Gibbs and Akeal Hosein, and assistant coach Roddy Estwick and physician Dr Akshai Mansingh.
Before the start of the tour against Pakistan, three West Indies players were seen coronavirus positive. So far, nine members have tested positive for coronavirus. The West Indies Cricket Board then demanded that the series be postponed. The Pakistani board has agreed to postpone the series.
