KATHMANDU: DEC. 17 – A full meeting of the Kathmandu District Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) is being held today. Basanta Manandhar, in-charge of the committee, informed that the division of labor will be completed, an action plan will be prepared, the secretariat will be formed and current issues will be discussed in the meeting.

A 225-member working committee has been formed under the leadership of Kusum Kumar Karki. Out of 138 branches of the organization, 90 branches have been expanded and the remaining 48 branches are planned to be formed within a month.

Similarly, committees, 10 city committees and one metropolitan committee have been formed in 10 constituencies of Kathmandu.
