Nepal reports 184 fresh COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths

KATHMANDU: DEC. 16 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 184 people in Nepal on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, COVID-19 infections have been confirmed in 160 people out of 7,230 PCR tests and 24 out of 3,788 antigen tests across the country.

At the same time, the number of COVID-19 infected in Nepal has reached 921,073.

Similarly, two more people have died due to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 11,567.

In the meantime, 267 patients have returned home after fully healing from COVID-19, bringing the number of recovery cases to 8 lakh 8 thousand 83.

Currently, there are 5,526 active infected isolation and 96 quarantined people in Nepal, according to the ministry.
